“One Thread” marks the third book of my writing paired with my photography that I have, in the wee hours of the night, completed in the last few years. A cumulation of so many thoughts, for so long, previously without an outlet. The first book “Blue Meets Blue” is a statement of recognition of who I am at this time. The second “untangled” is essentially just that, untangling the steps, the choices I have made throughout my life and to how that has led me to the present. “One Thread” explores not only the connections to others I have or had in my life but the significance of those connections. My abstract photography unlocked the door to the realm beyond what we can see with our eyes, the writing flowed from there and the voice can now follow. The concepts are not unique to me, nor are the writings. It is an insight to not only my journey here but honouring the journey of all others and their place of being. It is the recognition that each person carries their own unique story and the only path to love in this world is to be kind and compassionate to each other. I don’t write these books in pursuit of fame and fortune. Yes, they have been an avenue expression born of necessity for my own soul, but I write them for my girls Julia and Jessica so they always know how much love their Mom has in her heart.

ONE THREAD
Red Thread Proverb

"When we are born there are invisible red threads that connect our soul to those people we are destined to meet. The threads may stretch and tangle but never break" .

This book is based on the concept of those connections.

The recognition of these people in our lives and the circumstances, not bound by time or place, that cause the threads to either contract or stretch.
