The Stream

Without a doubt I believe in a place of consciousness beyond the terms of everyday perception.

Art, music, imagination, laughter, suffering and pain are portals to this stream that reaches

out and above the senses that guide us through every day.

When most of us are young we have infinite access to this creativity, this potential, this

stream. Unfortunately for many, as we grow older, the need to simply exist within this society

can push this creative energy down or seemingly out of reach.

For others, this awareness, this passion is there for a lifetime.

I consider myself blessed to have had the opportunity to once again recognize who I have

always been and through my images can finally express what could never be put into words.

This is living, living in a state where you can;

see the place of colour and shape,

appreciate the lines of movement,

hear the notes of your soul,

feel the burning touch,

listen to the stories that surround us,

be captured by your remarkable children,

identify the friends of the heart,

recognize your true love,

view your unique life with clarity,

accept the place of memory,

behold the beauty in nature,

enhance your sense of taste and smell,

enjoy the edge of madness,

see how the clouds always change,

allow the ease of release,

push the strength in the body,

bring the spirit alive,

be still and watch the stars,

observe the calm in understanding,

accept the relief in recognition,

honour the light within,

believe in the truth of knowing.
